Swan House Hotel - Beccles

The hotel was set in a very central area just next door to sights and restaurants nearby, the market town of Beccles, and the centre of the town. The unit we got was reasonably spacious with a balcony, lovely extra touches, for example.

The location was unbeatable, for example, Chapel was within easy walking distance of the hotel. I had double room that also was complete with comfy bed and the shower plus bathroom.

I stayed here for one night and the beautifully renovated hotel was just a few steps from the fine Beccles Bell Tower and the lovely Garden Tea Rooms. I appreciated thesuper clean and cozy room, a nice retreat after a day of exploration, although the soundproofing could be improved since I could hear footsteps from above.

We enjoyed the charm of the room, especially the separate bath. The place was close to various amenities. The noise from the floorboards above was problematic. While we appreciated the overall experience, that issue disrupted our sleep. I'm used to quieter settings back in Oxford.

Charming stay in a historic setting

I enjoyed a wonderful stay with unique room decor that reflected the building's history. The central location made it easy to explore Beccles, and I particularly appreciated having an in-room fridge for added comfort. The lack of a traditional breakfast service could be improved, as offering some basic amenities would enhance the experience.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were super cute, full of character, and the local artwork was a nice touch. Lots of places to eat nearby, we loved the vibe at Graze just across the street. Just a heads-up, it was kind of a pain not having any food options after 9 pm when the bar closes.

Loved the delicious organic jams at breakfast and the cozy bar area, made unwinding a pleasure. The location was spot on for exploring Beccles and nearby dining gems like The Town House and Garden Tea Rooms.

Only a tad noisy with creaky floorboards. My mum in the next room had a small whinge about it!

We loved exploring the nearby Broads and the charming local shops. Our room was lovely, and the location was perfect! Just a heads up, the mini fridge made some noise, so light sleepers might want to keep that in mind, but overall, we managed just fine. Would definitely recommend for a fun getaway!

While the room was cute, I did have some trouble with the bed. It was pretty uncomfortable, a bit disappointing. I guess a good night's sleep is important!

I loved my time at this quaint hotel, especially with its amazing room design and charming balcony overlooking the courtyard. It's just a few steps from Beccles bell tower and the beautiful Garden Tea Rooms, made my city strolls very enjoyable.

Had a fantastic getaway with friends! Loved exploring the Broads and discovering charming spots like the local market. Our room was beautiful with a lovely balcony, even though we couldn't use it thanks to the rain. Great location and comfy amenities.

The mini fridge in our room was quite noisy. My friend didn't mind it, but if you're a light sleeper, it might be an issue.

Excellent place with free Wi-Fi, a cozy bar area, and a lovely tv. The staff was kind enough to return my forgotten earphones, which I appreciated. I highly recommend staying here for a city break!

Our stay this valentine's day was amazing! The room was beautifully decorated with complimentary porridge and a cute little balcony. The location was perfect for exploring beccles and was really nice from our last stay in the area.
